The Association Board Mark Lehman, President, ACC Chair Mark and his wife Lisa moved into the Southern Lakes Neighborhood at 10787 Alison Way in July of 2002. They have four children; Alicia, Trevor, Grace and Emma. Mark was elected to the Board on August 7, 2006 at the Annual Board Meeting. He works is Business Development for Permasteelisa CS, an exterior glass and glazing contractor which specializes in high end and custom exterior curtainwall and cladding systems. Mark’s goal for the Board is to continue to bring neighbors together through various neighborhood events thus creating a stronger sense of pride in the Southern Lakes Neighborhood as well as aesthetic improvements to the park, monuments, open lot, ponds and neighborhood paths. His strongest concerns with the neighborhood are excessive speeding and algae in the ponds. Mark can best be reached at mlehman@southernlakes.us Chip Tangen - Vice-President, Web Site Chair Chip and Susan Tangen moved to Southern Lakes in September 2005 and reside on Amherst Way. The have two children, Katie and Geordie, who attend Rosemount High School and Rosemount Middle School, respectively. Chip was elected to the Southern Lakes Board at the Annual Meeting on August 5, 2008. He works for the National Association of Manufacturers, serving as regional manager for seven states. A native Minnesotan, Chip and his family lived many years in Washington, D.C., where Chip worked on Capitol Hill. Chip enjoys hiking, especially with his faithful dog Gabby, who is always eager to join Chip on geocaching adventures. Chip’s goal for the Board is to maintain the outreach and communication between homeowners and the association, apply covenants in a manner that respects and balances precedent, group and individual interests, and look for new opportunities to enhance our neighborhood, e.g., improvement of path system, address pedestrian safety on Cliff Road. Chip can be best reached at: ctangen@southernlakes.us Jeff Notch - Secretary Jeff and his wife Stacey built their house in the Southern Lakes Neighborhood at 10883 Andes Circle in April of 1999. They have two children; Alex and Sofia. Jeff was elected to the Board on August 4, 2009 at the Annual Board Meeting. He works as an IT Development Group Manager for US Bank. Jeff has been at US Bank for 9 years. Jeff’s goal for the Board is to fairly apply the covenants to ensure the continued value of all residents’ property. His strongest concerns with the neighborhood are continued work on the Cliff road pedestrian issue as well as lowering the speed of vehicles travelling through the neighborhood.
