Cliff Road Trail News

On May 26, SLA President Dorothy Van Hoven requested the City Council direct city staff to design a trail along Cliff Road, put it out for bid, and complete the project this construction season. Mayor Tourville said he would have city staff look into it, evaluate the county’s position, and look at putting this on the council’s agenda. Dorothy noted the safety concerns of many neighbors who walk along Cliff Road, especially since the walking trail which abuts Cliff was paved last fall. more >

Southern Lakes neighbors who are interested in the city’s 20-year comprehensive trail plan are encouraged to attend an informational session at Veterans Memorial Community Center on Wednesday, June 17 from 6-7 pm. This will be a good opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to city staff regarding the future of trails in the City of Inver Grove Heights. For further details, click here.
